The Drinks of Spain Cocktail Class at The Culinary Stone
June 23 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm$50
Learn the history of Spain’s native drink, sherry. Sherry was once a favorite during America’s Golden Age of Cocktails in the late 1800s then disappeared during Prohibition. It is enjoying attention today, and it should. Yes, sherry is trending and we’ll taste different styles in some classic sherry cocktails from the 1880s. Our final libation is today’s national drink of Spain using seasonal ingredients.
Enjoy light appetizers and take home your passport booklet with the recipes of Spain. Vintage barware, locally made products, and an enjoyable evening of sipping Spanish-style. Class location is The Culinary Stone in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Id.
This class is part of our It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere series. Each month a new country and spirit to learn about, make the classic drinks and taste how delicious history can be.
